Growing Gloucestershire 2007

The third Gloucestershire Professionals Conference, led by the Gloucestershire Enterprise Network, was very well supported being attended by 200 local business people and 30 exhibitors.

The day featured more than a dozen seminars covering a range of topics from getting the best from staff and developing winning teams to profiting from export, developing your information systems and assessing your website.

The programme also showcased personal stories direct from the managers of two of Gloucestershire’s most successful organisations. Diane Savory, Managing Director of the county’s Business of the Year 2006, Cult Clothing, delivered her seminar on how she led her organisation to ‘Achieving Cult Status’. Ben White, Chief Strategy Officer of MessageLabs talked about how they discovered a niche in the market and achieved global success’.

‘Growing Gloucestershire’ was delivered in partnership with the Chartered Institute of Marketing, Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development, and the Chartered Management Institute. The event was kindly hosted by the University of Gloucestershire at its Park Campus in Cheltenham.
